Just thought I'd share this terrifc recipe!

My DIL makes the best cookies and now this has become one of my fav chocolate chip cookies.  

Previously I used the Toll House recipe off the bag -- always turned out flat.

These are absolutely delicious and cook evenly. Although it says 1/2" drop --  I use a 1" cookie scoop to measure out dough - roll into ball & slightly flatten tops.  After baked I let cool 5 minutes or so on cookie sheet then transfer to cooling rack.  

These cookies and dough freeze great -- I make double batch of dough & freeze - Enjoy!!

I have several chocolate chip cookie recipes that I have collected and tried over the years, and the one that you posted is one of them! Thanks for sharing!

@homedecor1  Finally a recipe that calls for salted butter. That's the only kind I have and always feel weird using salted butter when unsalted butter is called for.

I always use salted and leave out the extra salt if recipe calls for it.

I never taste the difference!
