I got a "butter" at Walmart that was a mixture of almond and caramel.  It wasn't a large jar and was about $8.  It was so good i couldn't leave it alone.  I ate it with a spoon right out of the jar and finished it off in about a week.

Woodstock, it's organic and only ground almonds no added sugar or salt.

Whatever brand you choose please read the label....many contain extra oil, sugar, salt especially when trying to avoid added salt in food.

The best is to make it fresh.  If you can't Whole Foods has a nut butter maker where you can ground almonds or peanuts.

@Jackhound Mom  I recently discovered a brand called Legendary, it comes in some unique flavors. Apple Pie Almond & Cashew Butter, Cinnamon Bun Almond Butter & Pecan Pie Almond Butter.  They are low carb and no sugar added and absolutely delicious.  A little pricey but worth IMO, they are sold thru Amazon.
