@PINKdogWOOD  Do you by chance have the European butter cream frosting recipe a neighbor years ago used to make wedding cakes  and other special occation cakes and gave us her recipe for Butter Cream frosting but I can't find it any where. Wondering if it is basically the same recipe.

I LOVE a good banana cake!! I actually made a choc cake with bananas using a wacky cake recipe--for Easter---OMG---it was gone in a nano second!!!

@Donna2019   I'm sorry I don't have her recipe, I'm n ot the one to make desserts!!!! You could probably google this as "euro butter cream" and find a few great ones out there.

Since this recipe makes a rather dense cake, the freezing makes it moist while it cools.

I made a similar cake like this for Easter. I have made before. My husband loves and requested for Easter.

@deepwaterdotter @I have a friend who puts all of her cakes in the freezer after cooled slightly. She says it makes them moist.
