Baked Lentils

1 cup lentils

2 1/4 cup water

1/2 cup onions...chopped

1 teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon brown sugar

1 Tablespoon catsup

1 Tablespoon molasses

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

1/2 cup vegetable oil

Rinse lentils well. Drain. Combine lentils, water, onions and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Put in a casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 350* for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
