@kate2357 :  I understand about those mandolins for potatoes.  We do a dupe for Fleming's Steakhouse Scalloped potatoes which is to die for........this reminds me of that recipe.  Enjoy!!!

The key to a successful time using the mandonline is keeping all your fingers. LOL. But boy does it cut perfect slices ... just have to be cautious as all get out.

 

The ingredients in the Fleming's scalloped potatoes sound awesome. (did the google thing).

 

FLEMING'S POTATOES

potatoes au gratin, creamy cheddar & monterey jack cheese blend, leeks, jalapeño 

 

One version of mac and cheese I like is w/ Monterey Jack w/ jalapenos cheese (aka pepper jack), Fontina cheese, garlic and leeks. It's adult mac and cheese. Melty goodness.

@kate2357 :  Now that you mention it we also do Fleming's Chiptole Mac and Cheese recipe which is also very delicious....that's one of our favorite places to eat......
