BBQ Burgers

 

1 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef
3/4 c. rolled oats
1 c. Evaporated Milk
3 T. chopped onion
salt and pepper to taste
2 T. Worcestershire
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. Water
3 T. vinegar
1 c. catsup
4 T. chopped onion

 

Mix ground beef, rolled oats, evaporated milk, onion, salt and pepper together.
Make into patties and brown for 10 minutes.
Mix Worcesterhire sauce, sugar, water, vinegar, catsup and chopped onion and pour over patties. Simmer for 20 minutes.

We've done just onions and barbcue sauce and had great results.

I have a file full of your recipes from years past, including this one!

 

Since I'm sensitive to too much tomato products, (indigestion wise), I made this one with a gravy instead of BBQ sauce and it was delish, and earned a regular spot on our weekly menus.

 

Just add some mashed potatoes and YUM city!
