I agree!  I so wanted to put colored sprinkles on it, but he doesn't like sprinkles so I controlled myself.

There was a whole cake on the counter when I went to bed last night and I woke up to find this... so it must've been okay.

@house_cat : well trying to eat healthy and cut back on sweets but always interested in recipes with few ingredients. So - I looked plus didn’t help that I had a craving for cake for about a week. I didn’t have a special pan, and only had milk chocolate chips. Finally on Sunday baked a cake. I had a butter cake mix but substitute milk for the water and used a 9x13 disposable pan. The cake actually filled the pan instead of shrinking. I poked holes in the cake, made your recipe and poured it over the warm cake. Wow- fabulous and surprised not overly sweet with the milk chocolate chips.
