Anyone ever make corn flake cookies?

I purchased a box of corn flakes with bits of strawberry in them, and after 2-3 bowls I'm tired of them. It's a huge box, and I don't want to toss it, so I had the idea to make corn flake cookies, since today is my day to bake for the troops. I looked for a recipe and there are dozens - drop cookies, bar cookies, even no-bake cookies.

Does anyone have a tried-and-true recipe that tastes good, will travel well, and will stay reasonably fresh for up to two weeks? I don't want to send them something that's not top-notch. Thanks.
