This recipe is amazing! I had to take 2 screenshots to get the total recipe for you, so some of the screenshot is repeated...

Your meat will come out more "braised" than baked...

Re: Any suggestions for using plastic baking bags

I have used the oven bags for my turkey for as long as I can remember. I just prepare it like always and then place it in the bag per instructions with the flour and cutting the slits in the top. It will tell you this on the instructions inside the box. I put it in the roasting pan and let it go. I don't have any special recipe. I just season the outside, stuff it with stuffing and that's it. No basting and my turkey has turned out perfect every single year. I highly recommend them. It couldn't be easier! The hardest part is getting the turkey in the bag so you might need someone to hold the bag open while you slide it in but other than that, I never have any problems.

I used those plastic bags for years, always makes a nice juicy turkey with no work.  Now I always buy a smoked turkey from Sams club so I no longer do that but its really good and easy.

I use an oven bag to keep whipped potatoes warm while preparing other dishes. I cook and prepare whipped potatoes and place in oven bag. Add small amount of water to crockpot. Place potato filled oven bag in crockpot on warm setting. Potatoes will stay warm for many hours.

Re: Any suggestions for using plastic baking bags

i've used for years, too. it cooks faster so watch the little pop up thing, if you turkey comes with one or check temp. I also put turkey in the bag then stuff, some how it's easier for me to do that. love the easy clean up.
