Am buying for T-day dinner now---

I finally got my act in gear, after years of waiting til the week of,  and bought my turkey for Thanksgiving dinner!!!  Well, I don't buy the whole bird--but use a turkey breast and thighs only. I found exactly the size I need and the price was....ok-ish?? But it was on the shelves just waiting for meWoman Happy and I vacuum sealed them and they are now living in my freezer until the big day!!! How about that!!?? I will use one of the 2 thighs for making gravy and then will smoke the others--maybe--on my Ninja outdoor grill. Love me Thanksgiving dinners!!!

@wagirl   T-minus and counting....figured it was apropos with your subject line.  Nice and early, I love it!  I was grocery shopping this morning and saw all the frozen birds out in full force.  Enjoy!  🦃🍗

I bought my turkey breast months ago. Found butter on sale yesterday at Safeway for $1.99. I make yeast dinner rolls and pound cake from scratch.
Just the two of us to cook for, so it will be a nice stress free day.

I too already have the main foods I need for our Thanksgiving meal; just need to buy celery.

We head to the home of Tiffin on T-giving day, we have a week of changes scheduled for the motorhome. Last year I bought a smoked turkey at Honeybaked hams, we cut it in half so will take this half with us for this year. I will get the sides assembled and ready for the oven so that they are quickly ready when we stop that afternoon for the night.

@We rescue cats : We love the Honey Baked Ham - whole smoked turkey. I have placed our order for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This morning ordered our favorite side dishes from favorite restaurant. They will be picked up on Monday and will be packaged ready for the freezer. Plus purchased major Christmas gifts with only a few small gifts to purchase.

I have my Christmas ham, but haven't looked for a turkey yet.

I found a woman on Next Door that makes chicken enchildas from scratch, either white or red sauce. You have to cook them in the oven which is fine by me.

I ordered some for Friday and can't wait to get them. They look delicious from her pics.

She also makes pumpkin pies.

This will be my Thanksgiving dinner.
