Alternative to Canned Soups in "Slow Cooking??"

Hi All .. :-)

I'd like to dabble in Slow Cooking, but am looking for fast, low calorie, flavorful alternatives to the Canned Soups, esp Creamed soups, that oftentimes seem to be added to slow cooking. Does anyone happen to have any lower calorie, flavorful, fast alternatives? Thanks in Advance. :-)
