@RespectLife

I think you asked me about filling mini-bundt pans.

I ended up making carrot cake today -- had batter left so made them.

Hopefully, pic can show how much to fill & how they baked.

Re: 6 Inch Cake Pan - Great for Small Recipes!

I've been researching to make my daughter's birthday cake this year from scratch.  Specifically for a funfetti type cake.  I noticed that many of the recipes on the web and you tube videos use (3) 6 inch cake pans.

@ScrapHappy my daughter is 32 years old and she still wants a funfetti cake for her birthday!

I make it in the bundt pan.

You can use boxed white cake mix and add confetti candies.  I use plain white icing and sprinkle the confetti over it.

I've used the box cake funfetti last year for her birthday.  I'd like to challenge myself this year and make my own cake and frosting from scratch.  I've been watching a lot of you tube videos.

Beautiful!  I'll have 2 please!

My 2) 6" dadio pans came on Saturday.  Can't wait to try them.

I also ordered the 6" parchment papers.  I can use them in my AF as well.

I  make 9" layer cakes only if making for 6-8 people.

For the 2 of us- I bake a 6" round (4 c. batter) Wilton pan.  Once cooled I slice in 1/2 to get 2 layers.  Frost with favorite icing.

Less waste & we can't eat all that cake a 9" makes. I also make mini bundt cakes (single servings) got the bundt tins at Home Goods.

I made this 6" for bdays.

Me again, the pest with a thousand questions!  Hope you don't mind!

How the heck do you get the nuts/sprinkles etc on the side of your cake?

I've tried throwing them

I've tried pressing with my hands and got a hand full of frosting with the nuts still in my palm

tried spoons, spatulas, offsets

Every time nothing but a big mess, especially all over me and the dish!

TIA!
