Re: 4th of July/Summer Desserts

@sabatini usually the Woolworth dessert calls for whipped evaporated milk which isn't the easiest thing to do. I'd happily swap whipped topping for it.

Re: 4th of July/Summer Desserts

We rarely eat desserts.  They just don't interest us anymore.  I still have some leftover Easter cupcakes in the freezer.  I suppose, if I made anything, it would be a pan of KF brownies, KF chocolate chip sheet pan cookies, KF cheesecake fluff w/fresh berries or KF vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and unsweetened shredded coconut.  🤷‍♀️

So true, @AuntG! Such a pain.

Initially I switched the evaporated milk it out for freshly whipped cream, then just got some Cool Whip to make life easier.

You may have to use more lemon juice, or not.

I love that dessert!

Re: 4th of July/Summer Desserts

I’m thinking of making whoppie pies or a layer cake to take to a 4 th of July celebration we are invited to
I was watching magnolia bakery baking contest and thought of the whoppie pies I haven’t made those in a long time but they sounded so good
