I like Quaker Factory clothes for special occasions or going out for dinner. I am probably more of a fan ot stones and studs with embroidery than just sequins.
I get the most compliments on the Patriotic tops...

My clothes have very little bling. I do have several sweaters from White House Black Market.

I like a few items with rhinestones for fun, but let's face it, unless they are sewn on, they're going to be more difficult to wash or they are going to fall off. Items with missing rhinestones are always a bummer.

Two problems for me lately with Quaker Factory. First, I don't like all the needless bling that they are putting on things these days. I can buy similar things are big box stores and pay a fraction of the cost. Too much bling cheapens the garment IMHO and I don't like that overdone look. Also it makes them harder to launder and get back to the original look - always look somewhat crinkled.
Second, the sizes have changed. I bought QF Large for many years when Jeanne was alive. . Everything fit just fine, since I like things a bit loose. In the past year I tried two different tops from QF, both in a size Large. I ended up giving them both to a friend who wears a much larger size than me. They were huge! I don't know when the size range changed, but I'm still the same size as before. So I won't be buying QF again.

I don't buy Quacker Factory but I've noticed too much bling on many other fashion lines as well and even out in the B&M stores. I personally don't like the bling but that's just me. I don't mind a few little sequins or stones but many of the items are way over the top for my taste. I've passed over lots of T's and tops because of the excessive rhinestones, etc. Unfortunately when a trend pops up, every designer hops on the bandwagon.

I do not like bling as I think it cheapens a piece of clothing. I have always liked the Joan Rivers look, such as a pretty brooch, or necklace with a beautiful bracelet. I thought Joan dressed impeccably.

QF is putting too much bling on their clothes. I love the clothes and have many tops and pants. They wear well but I think the pants color fades and I wash them in cold. I wish they would go back to more embroidery. I think that is richer looking.

I wear bling to dance in. It works with our special hobby which is a form of ballroom dancing associated with square dancing. So I look carefully often in the AS IS or CLEARANCE sections to get the best deal. I also look for theme tops around the holidays.
