Just tuned into Anything Goes with rick and shawn....she was laughing insidiously throughout whole slipper presentation. And kept laughing...she apparently cracks herself up! Poor guest was standing there trying to make her feel better! Finally Rick walks over to pull her away and he apologizes to guest! If Shawn wants to make herself laugh...and I do mean inly Herself laugh....go to open mike night at comedy club...or go work at Hsn with self absorbed coleen lopez! They can laugh themselves silly. MEANWHILE...SHAWN SHOULD TAKE A MATURE PILL and do her job!!!!! I turned q off for the night.......maybe month!

Oh wow! I thought it was a bit silly, but I am not going to have a melt down over her laugh attack.

I thought it was hilarious!!! Just about everyone has had a laugh meltdown at one time or another - even on the job!!! This is a fun lighthearted show where anything can happen and that's why I watch!!!

I wasn't having a meltdown....just don't like watching someone trying so hard to be funny and fail so miserably. I think she did a diservice to the vendor....and therfore to me as a potential buyer.

Why add CL to the mix? She has more class than any of the hosts on any shopping channel (IMHO).

I didn't see the show last night...but I HAVE seen Jayne Brown & Pat, on their Fashionably Early show, laughing hysterically (for quite a long time) during their presentations. In fact, it happens quite frequently! If one of them gets the giggles, the other does too...it's contagious (and very hard to stop)...

I agree - she said something and then went into gales of laughter. I was laughing with her. Her face got all red, so I"m not sure what she said, but they were all laughing so it must have been funny! I like Shawn, I think she's fun and cute.

A few of the hosts-like Shawn, and Lisa Robertson, often have private, inside jokes going on with other hosts, models, or crew - they laugh and make comments, which we (the audience and customer) does not get because we are not in on the joke. Rude - and a "cardinal sin" on television, or any presentation in front of an audience. Let them laugh and joke with each other on their own time.

I didn't see the show mentioned by the OP, but I agree that what some hosts consider "funny" ultimately ends up as a channel changer for the viewer. I often see the scenes txskies described where the host is having a private conversation with someone else and then carries it over to live TV. Those are some of the most confusing & uninteresting moments on QVC.

I agree - comment about Colleen Lopez - totally uncalled for and a ""classless"" remark!
