If you want bagels go to Costco ( if one is in your area ) their bakery has all kinds of bagels.......Plain bagels.....Everything bagel...Cinnamon raisin.....Two bags of six for 6.99....
@sann nothing can compare to a NY bagel. Oh how I miss them. In Atlanta the closet to a real NY bagel is Einstein Bagels and still I would prefer if they were done in NY. There seems to be difference.
Went to Cosco last week and bought 2 for 6.99. They are still hanging around. My friend recommended them and she likes them. Guess I'll have to stick with Einstein's.
Apparently the water makes a difference in the taste.....
I used to order Western Bagels from a shop in California. Then I discovered Dave's Bagels and I never went back. To me they are equally as good as the bagels directly from a bakery.
My favorite is the plain bagels but their cinnamon raisin is also very good. I also like the fact that they are whole wheat bagels not made from enriched flour.
