I ordered a couple of products and I had them shipped UPS because I thought it would be the cheapest option. I was not able to get my orders from UPS...primarily because I live alone in an apartment building with a high turnover of occupants so I can't ask the mail carrier to leave the package with someone. The UPS man only comes to my building in the early afternoon when I am at work. It used to be that the carrier would swing around on his way home and get the package to me on the end of his shift but he can't do that anymore because of cuts to the labor budget. I cannot have UPS stop by my place of work either so I will have to have the mail servicer return the products.

I looked up the items to order again using a different mail service, but there is none. It used to be that QVC had at least UPS and USPS (post office) for shipping options, but apparently for at least 3 of the items I wanted to order, I had to use UPS or nothing at all...so now I have no choice but to shop elsewhere which is a bummer-and inconvenient, however most of the products can be found on ebay (the items I wanted are by Kirks Folly) and some are even on amazon now, but I just feel sad.

I used to really love shopping with the Q, but now with the economy... the impact it has had on companies...I really don't see myself buying anything from the Q unless I am on vacation and I know I will be home to be able to receive them.
