returns experiences at HSN

Guess this is a Q talk subject being HSN is a sister now--

 

I had some returns that were swirling around  in HSN return  worldWoman Indifferent--most on easy pay and had been returned for several weeks ,  I  got emails that they were all in the system--but-- as I always check---still the easy pays were being taken out. So I  contacted CS via live chat and that person made sure she found them  and that all was refunded to me within about 5 minutes. Now that is great service. Props to her!!!

I returned something to them around the beginning of July.   I used their return label and even called first.  As of yesterday I called the automated number and it says they don't have it?    I guess I wonder how long it takes for them to get it or should I be worried there is a problem?   This is HSN.   I have never returned anything with them before.   QVC I have and never had a problem.

HSN customer service is by far the very BEST!!!!! Their website is also very easy and concise when it comes to payments. It's sort of ironic, QVC "use to be" the best, but HSN has ALWAYS (even before the take over)   been way above the Q in customer service !!!!

@nada54 if you have your post office receipt there is a tracking # on it.  Just go to USPS tracking on google and you can see where the package is and if it was indeed delivered.

The live chat on HSN works very well, they are very helpful.  Been shopping with them for years and they always step up and fix the problem.    Be sure to have the order # on hand for the chat.

The worst two return experiences I've ever had were with HSN.  I won't go into details here but one was when they sent me the wrong item and it literally took over a month, at least 7 long CS calls and finally a registered letter to Mindy Grossman to sort out. (Just to add: during this the package went back and forth between me and HSN.)

 

 I didn't shop with them for many years after that and only buy very little now.  (Had to laugh at the final call.  The CS rep said "We do have the item in stock.  Do you still want it?"  NOOOOOO!)

 

For me, QVC's customer service has always been superior.

Over the last thirty plus years I have ordered jillions and zillions from QVC. In that same span of time I've ordered next to nothing from HSN...maybe a dozen items. BUT, just recently I did order a Colleen Lopez watch. When I opened the box the watch band was not attached to the face of the watch. Oh great...now what do I do having never even interacted with them on a return. Oh, and also right at that particular time going through an absolute nightmare return/replacement issue with QVC and being in a foul mood about it. Woman Frustrated I decided to try live chat with HSN. I told the rep the problem and he replied, "no problem." He sent out a replacement immediately and just asked I return the other one within 15 days. WOW, that was easy!

OK, first off--WOW ---the forums seem to be fixed!!! Good grief, I had a baby in far less time than it took for this to happen---Woman Frustrated Anyway---I document EVERYTHING a far as returning items--take photos ,make sure I write down times and dates/ numbers and an even call them before hand--QVC is the worst at returns and refunds--at least a month---ordered plant bulbs Feb 1---  got them in  May!!!! was supposed to get them in March---HSN is usually pretty good but this time it was way over a month. JTV is by far the best at returns, within prob a week.

Love HSN.  They are far superior to QVC in every way. In decades of shopping with HSN I have had one item returned. Went smoothly and CS was kind and professional.  My return with QVC can not say the same.  Did not get all the money owed me, and the CS rep was rude and unhelpful.

So who do you think gets my business?
