I know this isn't the popular opinion here but I understand why QVC keeps the original shipping cost on a return. The cost to ship a package has increased drastically. To ship a small, First Class package is over $3. Priority Mail now starts at $6.95. They shipped the package to me and incurred the cost of shipping, why should they eat the cost if I decide to return the item? If the product is defective, they always refund the original shipping cost.

As for shipping items together and charging individual shipping fees per item, I am paying for the convenience of shopping at home. It makes up for the times when I paid $3 for shipping and I know it cost them $6 or more. I don't agree with the comment about ordering at different times just to raise the cost of shipping for QVC. It only adds to overall price increases for everybody in the long run.

I could NOT AGREE with you more!!   Who does SG think she is.  She is more expensive than Isaac.  He is the "real deal".   LOGO is ridiculous...and so are all the rags Lori piles on herself. Anything would look good on those thinner models.  When Lori wears it...well....nuf sed!!!

Philosophy return would cost $8.95 plus the original $3.00 original shipping cost. Again I find myself keeping. I failed to cancel an auto delivery. Previously when I got email I was able to cancel but not now. It was shipped two days later. I am rethinking my auto deliveries. I thought one could suspend or hold auto deliveries but haven’t been able to figure that out. If anyone knows feel free to share.

There isn't a store I can think of that refunds the original s/h charge on a return, unless the item is defective.  HSN is the only exception and I'm betting that will change.

Evine's s/h is ridiculous.  $4.99 s/h on clothing for EACH item unless there is some type of deal.  $6.99 + for s/h on jewelry.  And they do not refund the original s/h either and you pay a return label fee.

It amazes me that people still do not know they pay a fee to use the QVC return label or that QVC doesn't refund the original s/h anymore.  There are people on another board I post on who insist they do not pay a return label fee when they return to QVC.  They swear their returns are free.

@Twins Mom if you go into your account and select your auto delivery you have the option of delaying or canceling. You can also call customer service and have them do this for you. It will tell you the date each order is scheduled to ship.

Returns to QVC are quite costly.  I returned a small cosmetic item (forget if it was a lipstick or a pencil) and did not use their label, but went to the post office.  Such a light item in an envelope (not a box) and it was still over $5.00.  Good thing I got it with free shipping to me.    I'm not crazy about the recent Breezies TSV, but I bought two colors so it would be $13. to do a return, so I'll just keep them.  They are very pretty, but fabric isn't that comfortable and the fit could be better.  I had vowed never to order that brand again, but I caved.

@Boomernichols  I haven't purchased from JCP in a lotng time, but the last  I recall is that they stopped refunding shipping costs too.  No shipping charge if you order over a certain amount or pick up at the store.
