Re: "You have nothing to lose" for trying= NOT TRUE

My hope is QVC reads this. Personally, I have never experienced any problems returning. Nor do I expect QVC to eat return cost. Most companies charge restocking fee. I'm learning to pay attention more sizing and if I really need item or is on it impulse purchasing. So let me thank QVC for being here for people like me living hours away from malls or high end dept stores. Lastly! Holidays soon here if it wasn't for Bill to Ship, Omy!! Don't know what I would do. Thanks Q. 💓

The statement on Q's website, re: the convenience of using the prepaid return label, isn't entirely accurate. It claims we don't have to wait in line at the Post Office or Shipping Center. Well, if l just drop off my package without waiting in line for a receipt, how do l prove l sent it back if it gets lost in transit??

@handygal2 @NanaLinda

What I did with my returns is to go to the USPS website since I have a return label you can schedule a pick up on a date you select, and then you check the box on the website where the package will be left.   When the mailperson picks it up they email you a reciept with a tracking number.  You still have to pay the $6.95 for the return label, but the post office does not charge for the pickup . You don't even have to be home for pickup if you are leaving the package, so it saves time of going to the P.O. and then standing in line. Of course you have to know your neighbors and neighborhood in order to use this method...I know my neighbors pretty well and never had a problme.

Now I certainly would not take a chance on this method during the Christmas season unless I was home and instructed them to knock on my door to pickup the return since there was a news report how people scan neighborhoods looking for packages and even go to the extent of following  USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex trucks and steal packages left at front doors during the holiday season....

I have been shopping with QVC for probably 15 years and have never had a return get lost.  And now, I get an email saying my package is in transit when I use the QVC return label.

Sadly, you can pay attention to sizing but that doesn't always solve the problem because the "click here" measurements aren't always there and the sizing is inconsistent even within the same brand let alone across other brands. Or even on re-orders the sizing and quality is sometimes different on items QVC brings back for a second season...I came back for the same item in a different color and it was like a whole different factory made it....the material and quality was nowhere near the same.....

And remember even if you live far away from malls and stores QVC is not the only retailer out there....other retailers offer the same or similar type items.....especially since QVC is carrying more and more named brands that people can easily find at other places online, most of the time cheaper too....

That is true for sure.  I guess they think we're idiots..  I don't buy anything from them anymore.  And most of the time I cancel auto delivery shipments.  Don't even watch on TV anymore.  Guess my interests have changed...

Why then do you order? For that matter watch? Selective in what I order. Also I know upfront, If there's anything wrong with the item I pay for my return. Unless defective or wrong item size color sent. If I'm not pleased with restaurant certainly wouldn't continue going. Never understand why people who complain about QVC keep coming back. Then try and justifying insulting the intelligence of pleased customers.

What you might consider is checking out virtually any retailer with a website... which is pretty much all of them...

No, actually, "most" companies do not charge a restocking fee. I order most of the thing I use online and I have never paid a restocking fee for anything I've ever returned. I dont' buy from places that do charge one since there are so many other companies out there that do not charge one.

QVC's return shipping keeps me from buying more. I buy from company's that have free return shipping.
