If turkey (like any poultry) is left out a little too long prior to cooking (or undercooked) can go slightlty off and give people some digestive problems. Have to be very careful handling poultry because it can get "iffy" without having a smell or feeling tacky.....

LOL! Yes, there is a definite issue when one eats lots of turkey. Last year, I tried upping my protein intake and added turkey. Oh, my! I had so much gas I could have inflated the Hindenburg (sp). So, the turkey as part of my diet didn't last long.
