poor QVC.....

You still don't get it? Your idea of clearance is to add one more easy pay option to the all ready normal price, still charge s/h and call it a clearance!!! What don't you understand ? I won't be shopping your "clearance" days. I'll still be paying the normal price of your "sale" item and with s/h and the taxes in my state it's No deal for me.

i agree!!! When you watch other home shopping networks, you go, wow thats a clearance price. 50% off & free shipping!!!

This is why they'll still be selling some of the same merchandise years down the road and at pretty much the same prices. Significant markdowns are not a significant part of their vocabulary.
