I have noticed that most of the women show host's are becoming extremely obsessed, not just on QVC but HSN as well. They are obsessed with makeup, skin care, hair products, hair dryers, hair curlers. They are obsessed with self tanners, body lotions, body creams, body butters. They are obsessed with cleaning products, mops, vacuum cleaners, tablets, phones and computers. They are obsessed with shoes, jeans, coats, tops, skirts and dresses.
They are becoming so obsessed I think they all need an exorcism.

How can you tell by watching on TV whether or not someone is obsessed?

Obsessed?
They're doing their jobs, which is to present and sell the products.

Like the Logo lady - "I'm obsessed with this top!" They are all obsessed with everything they see and sell. EVERYTHING!

Hosts sell those items. They are paid to be interested in them. Not so sure they are obsessed.

I get your point. Many of them are specifically stating, "I am obsessed with __________". I have heard Shawn do it many times, as well as others. It could be just another way to show enthusiasm and sell products. I think we would all be better off if we stop obsessing over "things" and work on personal growth and relationships. I know that is what I need to do.

I see the humor in your post. Like really, how can one person be so seriously obsessed with so many things. Its laughable.

If you mean the word "obsessed" is way overused, yes it is, but we're talking about sales. It's far from a real life sentiment for each and every product. The producer in their ear knows the number of items being sold in real time. I'd bet the sales jump up exponentially whenever that word is used. That's why so many say it. It's the non-dancing "happy dance."

Do we believe everything tbey say? I don't think so --so their being obsessed with something they're selling could be just a part of their sales pitch.
Anyone who has ever been a salesperson knows selling requires an apparent commitment to what you're selling ---even if it's an act.

I can tell they are obsessed because they keep saying over and over that they are obsessed.
