I had similar in High School also. We use to sew the legs as tight as possible down to the beginning of the bell bottom and make the bell bigger. "Everything old is new again".

It would be a cold day in you know what if I bought a pair of jeans for $225!!!! Plus, I find it hard pressed to even find real jean material anymore...so many spandex jeans out there. I like to have both because the spandex can be comfy but sometimes I just want old fashioned jeans.

Yeah.... too long.  You should at least see an inch of the bottom of her shoes.  We would embroider down the outside seam from a little passed the knee and then around the base of the bell  (Hippy Dippy stuff) ....also they were hip huggers.... but that was So. CA in the early 70's.....

LOL when the style evaporated I couldn't get rid of the jeans fast enough.... and I have no love for the look now....
