I remember his Halloween shows where he had witches with cauldrons and spell books. 

Now all he shows are angels with baskets of flowers and cats.

Is QVC changing his previous viewpoint of women as witches and turning them into a more sanitized version of angels with flowers and cats.

I don't know if the Q has changed it's view on Halloween, but Jim Shore's Halloween items have not.  You can Google Jim Shore Halloween 2017 and his items will come up.  They are similar to the ones you posted, along with some Peanuts ones and others.

All I know is the too cute kitsch doesn't cut it for me. I used to enjoy seeing some of his items until they all became 'vanilla'...

I googled him as you recommended and came up with the following witch and I stand corrected if this is a new 2017 version of a witch.  She is absolutely scary.

@newname0 These are wonderful! So full of witchy personality...love it. Thanks for posting them. I think the buyers try to hone in on what will sell, and angels must sell. Myself, I like something with a bit of wicked punch for Halloween...you don't get many days that celebrate the non angel woman! I always thought the wicked witch in Oz has been more interesting than pigtail Dorothy. How did she get those powers, find those monkeys, and deal with that green skin?! Now that's a determined witch!
