I received cooks country cookbook a few weeks ago. Of course it wasn't on free shipping.   My question is Where is the recipe for the pumpkin pie cheese cake that is suppose to be in this recipe book?  I looked for this recipe under pies, cheese cake, and I can't seem to find it, and maybe some viewers may be able to help me.

ALSO, the author mentioned a dish that would be great to take or make for Thanksgiving.

I could not pronounce what the dish was, so maybe someone can help me with this as well.
THANK YOU, IN ADVANCE.

America's Test Kitchen pumpkin cheesecake recipe is online but requires a 14 day trial sign up to print.

Did find other pumpkin cheesecake recipes from other sources.  They look delicious.  Smiley Happy

@little missy.  Could it be under desserts?

Is it called a Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake?

If so Google has it available online.

I don't even see that cookbook on this website.  However, according to google, the recipe for Spiced Pumpkin Cheescake in in the America's Test Kitchen cookbook they have here.  Is it possible the host or guest confused the two books?

Adding I have made pumpkin cheesecake every year for thanksgiving and other times for many years.  My recipe is from a website called Epicurious and also easily googled Pumpkin Cheescake with a Caramel Swirl.

The cookbook being sold today was "Americas Test Kitchen Complete Series" not "Cooks Country".  She stated the cheesecake recipe was in that cookbook (ATK).

I'm sure there are comparable recipes online. Hope this clears up any confusion.

I looked at Pumpkin Cheesecake Recipe today on ATK website.  The recipe and instructions were pages long, as the instructions are very detailed. The recipe is actually simple. After reading recipe, I think there are many online that are better or just as good.  I would make my crust with gingersnaps myself,   But their instructions are so detailed for people who haven't made cheesecakes before so they don't crack, etc.  but, as posters have mentioned...if you bought the cookbook for that recipe I would return it or let CS know.  That's wrong.

I searched on-line for:

pumpkin cheesecake recipe like the one from cooks country

What came up first was a recipe from a site called Enchanted Kitchen and they had a recipe from Cook's Illustrated Magazine, which I've discovered prints recipes from both shows.

After the Enchanted Kitchen page came up there are a ton of other pages for this kind of a recipe.   Would be worth a look and you may find what you're looking for.

The other recipe you didn't catch the name for might be for Pavlova.  Good luck!
