cancellations letter from QVC

Recently I got a letter from QVC stating that I had made

too many cancellations and to  please stop it. Has anyone

else received such a letter and how do you feel about it?

Re: cancellations letter from QVC

I haven't yet...but probably will soon. I am not sure how i feel about it....I don't understand how it really matters to them, they have a waitlist for most items. I also think if they didn't push the hosts to say things like..."only order of the year....may not come back in stock...ect" we wouldn't feel so rushed to make a decision.

Re: cancellations letter from QVC

I have never received one but know others have. There has been several posts on the forums about it.

I would not be happy if they sent that too me. I most likely would not buy from them anymore.

QVC says on air while presenting items you can return anything for any reason???

I don't buy much from Q anymore but when I do I try to make sure it's something I know I'm going to keep. I don't want to pay shipping both ways for nothing. IMO that's like throwing money in the trash.

Re: cancellations letter from QVC

I recently cancelled two orders, then re-ordered one of the items I had cancelled.  For several years, I have only ordered what I truly wanted because the Q has put the order "in process" immediately and stated an order at that point cannot be cancelled.  These were my first cancellations in I don't know how long.  Years.

@bibes

What I read was QVC views the number of cancelations and returns in comparison with products actually purchased by the customer....if there are too many cancelations/returns or both the infamous letter is sent...

I might be next if that is their policy. Just like said, the hosts try to pressure you and sometimes it works on me. Then I sit down and go through the reviews. If they look bad I cancel. And by golly, you better be fast, because I have some Playtex bras coming that I tried to cancel within 2 hours of ordering and could not. I know they will be going back and they better not charge me shipping when I write on the return slip that I tried to cancel. If I get one of those letters, I will be done shopping with them also.

Re: cancellations letter from QVC

Many years ago I went through a time where I made purchases that I wound up returning.  Eventually, I received a letter from Customer Service about the number of returns I was making.

I just thought of another thing. I thought there was some kind of law that you had the right to cancel within 3 days upon purchasing something. Maybe that is just certain ways of buying. Am I wrong in thinking there is a better business thing or something along that line. Maybe it is a service???

I too check reviews...somtimes you don't have enough time before buying.
