Glad you posted another fav of yours. I have also been watching some different hosts during a 100* heat wave and have really enjoyed Alberti, Rachel, Jennifer, Mary D., Courtney as usual. But the ones who have surprised me with their dramatic changes are David and Kerstin!
David's loss of weight and happier attitude is apparent in everything he does. He's enjoyable to watch again and his programs are interesting with Mary D., Rachel, Kerstin or whomever. His joy is infectious!
And Kerstin doesn't seem so self-absorbed with herself. I watched an hour of her live conversation with customers asking questions last Saturday (following her two programs). She took the questions and answered them quickly and honestly (bing, bing, bing) without hesitation! There was no giggling around, hemming, or trying to find a way out of an uncomfortable question. She answered everything frankly and without excuses; then moved on to the next question.
Kerstin spoke with integrity and in a professional manner for the entire for the entire hour - and thanked each individual for their question. She was well mannored and charming, kind and gracious. She spoke slowly and modulated her words well. She used the English language well, too.
She's obviously one of the more intelligent and ambitious hosts QVC. Watch Kerstin. She will continue to to rise with QVC. She's moved quickly as a host, but her star is just beginning to shine!
My other choices of hosts to watch are the six mentioned above: Alberti, Jennifer, David, Courtney, Mary D., and Rachel. My female intuition says all of them are going to soar at QVC! It could be a very interesting time with many changes. I think these are all very nice, kind, well prepared, easy to watch hosts.

Comments are welcome.
You asked for it, you got it.....
.....When several of the hosts were let go Kerstin seemed to change for the better---she calmed down and slowed down when she spoke and she focused on the job and the products without the posing, primping, and silliness....but that didnt last long and she was back to her old ways...so we'll see if the changes stick JMHO.....
I wonder if she got some needed coaching
......there was a survey sent out asking about shows, programming, hosts, and "entertainment style shows", and whether the viewer got enough product information....Things that make you go hmmmmmm
I dont care for Ali, she seems a bit scripted and insincere...and there's also something about her speech pattern, a bit "valley girl".......
My favorites are Leah, Carolyn, Dan Hughes, Jayne Brown, Pat, Mary Beth.....and I think Vanessa is really showing promise.....
I like Mary D, and I like David also, but one bit of feedback on him, he just goes over the colors way too much.....(maybe its the Producer in his ear thinking it creates a sense of urgency for customers to pick a color and hurry up and buy it...who knows)....
CK has really gotten a bit too self focused and silly when paired with another host at the expense of product information....she's always messing with her hair (wig and/or extensions) .....she needs to go back to her own natural hair which looked very nice.....
And Amy her emphasis is being "a model"...sadly I find her immature and silly, the promo where's she's dancing with Alberti says it all....first the chicken dance now this---I guess she likes to dance, I like info on whether a garmet fits true to size or whether we should stay the same, size up or down, and if she represents petites then dont wear stilletos, Oh Lisa Robertson and Gabrielle some of us miss you on Monday Fashion Night IN, at least I do.....JMHO.... And yes folks, I now DO TURN THE CHANNEL when there's a host I dont care to watch...and my purchases are less too...
