Boy QVC is running these electronics to the ground....they just had the Halo car charger on and I guess it didnt sell well because when I was waiting for Valerie to come on last night there the charger was again with Kerstin cranking the dead engine and then charging and VRRROOOMMM (ZZZZZ).....And I'm a tad tired of Clarks Footwear too.....snorefest...
And they've run that Ring Security system to the ground too that was just a couple weeks ago....same with Amazon Echo and now its the Amazon Firestick (HEY QVC ISNT AMAZON A COMPETITOR OF YOURS???????????)...........
And what's funny is that electronics haven't been selling well a QVC for years (just check QVC's financial reports online---its always "decline in electronics and jewelry") yet QVC continues to OVERSATURATE these type of shows...
Meanwhile the decor shows seem to sell well much better than some of the other so called "gift shows" yet they keep shutting down the decor shores earlier and earlier (it's not even Halloween yet)..........Well QVC's loss because the local stores---Hobby Loby, Home Goods, Pier 1 will be the ones getting my business....and I'll watch QVC less and buy less from them.......
Continue to go with electronics.....you saw what continuous electronics shows did to HSN's financial results didn't you QVC Execs??????????

I hear ya Spurt~!
Between yesterday's TSV alarm system's siren demonstration, and Valerie's mercury glass presentations (awaiting something to drop and shatter), my nerves were shot.
Is it spring yet?

Who would buy Apple products from QVC? I buy them straight from Apple, buy reconditioned most of the time and get an Apple warranty. I've yet to regret it.

No matter what they're selling, some portion of their viewers just won't care.

From the number of questions being asked in the Q&A section of reviews, I'd assume the fire stick is doing very well. I got one from Amazon a couple weeks ago and love it. The fire stick and an inexpensive ($14) interior antenna for local stations have allowed me to cut the satellite cord.

I can't believe that the HALO lady is old enough to have a college age daughter, as in "I would never want my daughter at college to ask a stranger for help jumping her car"....(I know, I know I watched the presentation too many times)...

To me a lot of questions in the Q&A makes me think the following:
1. Is there something wrong with this model for QVC to sell a competitor's product? Should I buy it from QVC or Amazon?
2. The host and vendor didn't give a very good presentation and inforamtion and just presented the "sales puffery" which left a lot of unanswered questions. Just like the Amazon Fire Tablet from last year when they just coincidentaly failed to mention a little detail like this tablet didnt support Google PlayStore apps (so thee were a lot returned because of that---but some tech type folks found a way to bypass the system to get it installed) gee wasnt that an important point.....
Or it could be the Best Buy Syndrome---Best Buy found out it was just a demo lab where customers came saw the product in person asked the Sales Associate a lot of questions, and then went and bought it from Amazon....
Q&A's dont mean a lot to me, O/T but a lot of product presentatioons are lacking...on a Dyson battery operated vacuum the vendor mentioned it lasted for 20 minutes but she failed to mention that was on LOW speed, on high speed it only ran for 10 minutes....an important point

Especially these days you just can't be too careful....

I suppose the TSV will be on ITKWD tonight too. Good thing I record it and I can fast forward that part. (I think it was on Jill's holiday home show too.)

@SpurtI can't believe some of the questions people are asking but it's a complicated device to explain in 20 minutes. Many obviously don't grasp the concept at all. They think they'll get cable service for free. I bet there will be a ton of returns.
