After working for 25 years at QVC she retired to go try her hand at something else.

@Carmie  - Jill left after 15 years at the Q.  When the Q threw her a celebration with her family after 15 years, she said that she would be with the Q for another 15 years if "they will have me".  She left a month later to "spend time with family".

@San Antonio Gal , Jill, said just the other day on QVC that she had been at QVC 25 years. She was Mary Beth representing JAI jewelry.

I stand corrected @Tissyanne .  Didn't realize it had been that long.  Thanks.

I am in the no camp as well.  While Jill was prepared for her shows, she never developed a following - hense why all the little side hustles she has attempted are not working.  She left the Q in a huff because her show AHWJ was being pushed to Q2 and she thought that was a demotion.  She was not happy and picked up her toys and left.  Fast forward  selling matresses and now with Jai.  I don't think she ever landed on anything specific and is doing her best to try now and build an online presence and following - which is not going so well.  "spending time with family" not so much.

@Shelbella262   I don't have any "facts" to back this up, but your post is exactly what I always thought about Jill's departure from QVC.  Not only was her show bumped to QVC2, it was at a time when QVC2 wasn't even very populated with live shows as it is today.  Then they gave her a co-host -- Katie McGee -- for her shows there.  I cannot imagine Jill felt she needed a co-host after 25 years.

Everyone spends more time with family when their regular full-time job is gone.  That's why they all say it; it's true, even if it covers up different actual circumstances that causes it.

No, Jill has moved on just like every other former host. Leave them alone. Stop speculating. Find something good to do for the poor and vulnerable instead of dwelling on hosts.

I agree completely.  But why not be upfront and say you are a paid spokesperson instead of saying "Im a freind just sharing info".....to mee, seemed dishonest

Nope. When you're gone, you're gone. I remember when Jane T. returned to Q after quitting some years ago. I've never watched her shows since her on air return.
