Re: Woldu want Jill Bauer to return to QVC as a host?

I never once EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT IT .........not even once. I pay attention to the item and pay no attention to the salespeople. I don't even know there names and when it comes to models I am totally LOST !

Jill has moved on and so should you. She does more than sell on her website and work as an ambassador for the Scott Brothers.

She advises and mentors others and she does TV work. Her life seems full.

After working for 25 at QVC she retired to go try her hand at something else.

She doesn't want to come back and work as Host, so respect her choice.

I retired at age 55 after 25 years and liked my job too, but I wouldn't want to go back.

Seems like an awful statement to make to someone who was curious.....You haven't

the slightest idea of what she wants.......no one cares what you did or didn't do.....

this is not a thread ABOUT you.

@JONNYSBRO @ I @really enjoyed Jill. I was bummed when she left.

I dont understand the point of your post. Like you said its been five years. This thread isnt going to bring her back and just incites negativity. Be better.

@Group 5 minus 1, I hope I'm not overstepping with this suggestion about your sig.

Because it blends in with the text of your replies to posts, and sometimes seems to fit your response while making me scratch my head when I see it on others I'd like to suggest that you make a change as follows:

And what have you done? Another year over, and a new one just begun.

Of course you can change the color to your preference to separate your sig from text.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.

Re: Woldu want Jill Bauer to return to QVC as a host?

I had no idea Jill Bauer was with QVC for 25 years!

I loved her Silver shows, and felt she was always well-prepared and very profssional. I was sorry to see her go.

As for "letting others have a chance" ... sorry, but some of the current hosts are just too immature and inexperienced. Some don't seem to have had anywhere near enough training!

One host that was hired and got up to speed fairly quickly is Terri Conn. It takes time to develop on-air sales skills.

@JONNYSBRO

What I really want to know is if you've ever started a thread that does not concern a host. EVER???

Courtney K., CoCo, Court, whatever you call her was very speedy when she first arrived. The fastest I've seen.

Her choice was to leave and move on. That was her choice. She made it clear.

Most people who retire after 25 years have no intention of going back to their same job with the same employer, including me.

Did you have mean beans for lunch? You seem full of hot air.
