you say "no, thanks" then, they say "Would you like DEFG"?  NO !

If I wanted what your asking me I would say I wanted it when I call in. Makes the phone call longer. High pressure tactics. I don't care for it.

Or when you have to practically tell them your life history so as to get around to actually ordering. When I come up against that, I hang up without buying anything.

Same old 1. even though people don't like it seems to make some dizzy I usually take Bonine for that OTC at Walmart

I'm just old and I like to do stuff the old fashion way. Yep, got apple laptob and Apple mini something or other.

People have trouble doing stuff  online too and they have to go thru hoops to change it. I've read online we all have troubles

I haven't ordered from an actual live person since that was the only option.  I preferred the auto-order option when it became available, and now usually on-line, so I didn't realize that QVC was doing this now.

I do know that some companies give their operators some kind of extra compensation for what they can "up sell" above the original order.  Maybe QVC is doing this now too.

Is there a reason to call in an order?  Seems much faster and easier to do it online.

I call in all orders.  I enjoy the interaction and I don't have a computer.
It's simply easier for me to talk with someone.

I have a feeling because sometimes they offer additional items you can purchase on automated ordering QVC feels that a person ordering through a CS Rep should be offered the same optional items....

I put up my laptop and tablet up a lot of times when Im watching TV and I dont care for QVC's phone app so I use and prefer the automated ordering number rather than placing the order online through computer or tablet....JMHO

@Spurt   The trouble is, if I'd used automated ordering all these years, I would have missed out on the $6500 I've thus far collected in rebates.....my "fun" money.

Re: Wish QVC would drop

[ Edited ]

When I used to call in to order, I only used the automated number and I knew the menu.  I would immediately hit  #3 then I would be asked the item number.

I was off in a blink.
