@Foxxee  We love our horses.  Ben and Norman are Percherons, and we have 2 more draft horses named Cindy Cinderella and Rocky and they are Belgians  Cindy is 12 yrs old, and Rock is 14 yrs old.  We have owned them since they were 6 months old.  My husband is a kind, gentle horseman who has trained all our horses.

I love Ben and Norman and we've never even met Cat LOL

How lucky you are to have such a handsome pair of horses.

Such beautiful, wonderful creatures.

Do they enjoy being outside in the snow?

@hayseed00   Wow - beautiful & majestic your Ben & Norman. What kind of horses are these? Reminds me of the Clydesdales.

And yes, if you listen closely you can hear the bells!!! A lovely sight this winter.

@PINKdogWOOD  Big Ben and Norm are Percherons.  A interesting fact is that if a Percheron is born black they usually will turn gray or white around one yr of age, if they are born brown they usually will remain black their entire life.

@hayseed00

My husband laughs and says that if we had horses, I'd have them in the house!

His family farm is home to two horse rescues, and I bring them watermelon rind in the summer.  I make sure there is plenty of melon left and cut it in small pieces.  The owner has approved my doing this and I normally let her feed them.

They are old horses, (rescued from Amish farms) and she does seem to take good care of them, so if I see them in the field, I know they have the option of going into their stalls.  But, I would want them to have a heated barn!

I'm curious, do Ben and Norm get along with Cindy and Rocky?  So lucky to have them around to talk to every day!
