(1)   The mods have been too busy to see it and nobody reported it to the mods is one reason some things that should be deleted aren't; and

(2) There are many mods (I don't know how many) and it's subjective as to what constitutes a terms of use violation.  Opinions can differ among the different mods.

I see another LR thread was just shut down.  I didn't see the last postings that caused the demise.  I can only imagine.

IMO it depends on how the post is perceived by the monitor no matter what the rules are. Also, you get other posters who report you for your comment. The monitors are human too and I'm sure they have posters who they agree with and those they don't. Wah la post deleted! I too believe it isn't right to delete a whole thread.
