Just because some posters tend to comment positively about QVC instead of negatively doesn't make them "plants" anymore than it makes the negative posters something unsavory.

BTW, I can't count on just a few hands (if I had more than two) the number of purchases I've made here. Yet I enjoy the boards. Go figure.

@suzyQ3  If mine is one of the posts you are referencing, that isn't what I said or meant.  Maybe you mean someone else's post(s).

@Pearlee, you ended your post (#32) with "So to answer the thread question - perhaps someone paid to keep defending QVC and its policies."

Isn't that the slang definition of the word "plant"?

@suzyQ3Your post references "some posters tend to comment positively..."   I agree.   I didn't say in my post that  I meant every single poster who comments positively is being paid by QVC.  In fact I had one particular poster in mind whom I reference in the masculine.  I think you should go back and read my post.   Of course many  posters are totally legiitmate positive commentors - I never said they weren't or that "all" who post posibitive comments are plants.  For goodness sakes. .  Your post seems to accuse me of saying all who "tend to post" positive remarks aren't legitimate posters who aren't being paid by QVC.  I never said that.  If you mean my post, you are making it much broader than I wrote it and therefore misinterpreting it.

@Pearlee, okay, that's fine. You were referring to just one person. And the poster who immediately agreed with you was speaking of plural "plants."

IMO, the only possible potential shills here are those who sign up just to advertise their company or push a product, and they are usually gone after one or a spate of such posts. I do not believe that any posters here are employed to post in a certain way.

If I'm correct in assuming who your particular poster is, again IMO, I think that this poster is just fed up with the constant nitpicking of everything to do with QVC.

Of course, you know what they say about opinions -- we all have them.

Re: Why post here if you don't purchase here?

I do buy on the Q.  I counted 29 purchases in the last 12 months.  Only one returned.  I guess I am learning more what I like.

I purchase more on Amazon.  I'm afraid I purchase less and less in stores.

I wanted a teal colored shoe polish cream and found it on Amazon today in

just a few minutes.  I am a Prime member, so my husband and I use it.

I enjoy a tea from England that I can find at some supermarkets or the World Market.  It was completely sold out in those places, so again, I found it on

Amazon and it was delivered quickly.

I do enjoy the fashion shows on the  Q the most.  There are so many items not for me, however.  But I manage to still find clothing I like and buy.

I do recomend checking Amazon for certain brands, at least to comparison shop.

I have found these forums a lot of fun.  I enjoy hearing what people have to say,

all the opinions.
