You must be watching a different network.  Earlier this evening, I heard JRT say the word "CHIC" about 15 times in 30 seconds.  I was half asleep on the couch and busted out laughing...she was selling a pair of something, I don't remember cause I was dozing in and out.  I guess all the other posters here are exaggerating this as well?  We all must be hearing things...

BTW, you post was quite "CHIC!"

Clothing isn't the only thing they use this word for.  I've heard hosts describe electronic products as "CHIC."

Also, I hate the term(s) like "pant", "shoe", etc.  Last time I checked, most of us have two legs and two feet.  We don't buy a pair of "pant" or a pair of "shoe", we buy PANTS or SHOES.

I wasn't watching, usually when I take naps I turn on QVC just to hear people talking in the background so it's not so quiet in here.  I was dozing off and all of a sudden, JRT couldn't stop saying the word "CHIC."  I mean she was totally out of control!

Coastal grandma?? I've never heard Kim say that one and I have no idea what it means. Lol.
The hosts have definitely sounded desperate and pushy the last few months. Their sales must be down.
