It was probably Brussel Sprouts, one food David does despise, lol!

 

My thoughts, back when they were eating on air, you would see multiple people eating out of the same dish. Who knows what goes on off camera.
One host who is no longer on with David had a bad habit of cross-contamination, going in for a 2nd bite with same fork.
