@PreKteacher Shared food concerns probably. Food samples at places stopped- as well all buffet set ups --

@KKJ wrote:@LdyBugz Nothing. It's just something else to complain about.
I did not post to complain, i want to know why. I haven't watched a food show in a long time. I still don't understand. The food stylists used to have special food plates set aside for the hosts to try or food they had just taken out of the oven whatever for the hosts. The rest was display, and probably used more than once. So it is COVID. But if they aren't going to take a bite then don't destroy the food on the plate. Mushing it around, squishing it whatever is unappetizing to me. Just pick up a plate wave your hands, fawn over it whatever, just don't play with the food!

@Shawnie Thanks for your response. I would say Covid is the obvious reason for the eating restrictions. As for the "mushing" of the food, there's not much else they can do with it other than try to describe it or show the texture. There are some people that complain that the texture of a product is not shown adequately. Regardless of anyone's personal opinion, I think taste, smell, texture and visual appeal is all subjective based on personal preference. I don't think there is any host, vendor, chef or home cook out there that could please every person. To this day I cannot stand brussel sprouts while others love them.
Have a good evening.

Why do people keep asking why the hosts don't eat the food when the reason is so painfully obvious?

Around the time Lisa Mason started being a guest on QVC again, I read her FB page. She tells a funny story about her presenting one of the many hams QVC used to sell, when Lisa was a regular host on the show. I guess she hadn't tasted it before, and her reaction was so strong, because the ham was so salty, she spit it out. She said so many orders got cancelled because of her reactions! Maybe Lisa has reminded them of what happened to her.

Exactly! Do they not realize what's been going on the past 8-9 months? Seems pretty obvious to me as well.

Maybe they don't eat sweets, or carbs, or meat.....don't eat between meals, have allergies, a medical challenge.....etc. etc. etc. In addition to the Covid ban..................

the bigger question is: why is this question posted constantly....

@KKJ @Kachina624 many don't think it's real. Or that the reports are exaggerated (for whatever reason). Still.

No joke. I think this has been asked more than the "Antonella" threads that are also posted constantly!
