@We rescue cats What? You mean you don't like the slathering upon slathering of all that oil and BB on JM's and the models' skin?  LOL   I usually watch as like some stuff in her line though rather pricy.

@fthunt

I used to think that too....about it being "the weekend"....but is there any longer a "weekend"?

This stuff streams, it's online and broadcast on old school websites, it's advertised on TeeVees on channels NOT QVC ( just the general programs...)

People who KNOW QVC know this, and people who don't watch QVC are unlikely to start now...although it's what they want ( to draw in more viewers....)

I DO notice that David and some other hosts sometimes mention the "450 new shoppers who shopped the first time wiht us today" so someone must be watching it the old school way...but if you notice he never says it's from TeeVee viewing...it COULD be online or from the streaming shows.

I think if you shop QVC/HSN online in any online/streaming form, before you press buy, you'd check all the other sites out there that compare prices....and shop somewhere else if it's a name brand item...cheaper, no shipping, free fast returns.

On the other hand, they say 10,000 people a day turn 65, but 65 today is not the 65 of even ten years ago....people are more online and streaming savvy...

Anyway....I guess we're stuck with the long boring snore inducing hour long TSV's because it's either working, or they just aren't listening or don't care.

From the comments, most viewers use the TSV to use the bathroom, cook dinner, run to the store, do laundry or ANYTHING but watch one hour of vacuums, pressure cookers, mattresses, christmas trees, overpriced hamburgers or any other TSV.

It'd be like going to Walmart, standing in the aisle, and staring at an item for an hour before you decide to buy...who does that?

Who knows?

I knew they would probably spend time with the Dyson so I recorded ITKWD......that way I could fast forward thru that boring Dyson nonsense.......

I so agree.  Why is she on so much?  How much body butter can people use? I buy it once a year.  She must have some following. Channel changer for me if I don't need anything. She was on several times this weekend.

I use Milk Serum face and body, but it lasts a long time with her super sizes. I got a large body butter before the holidays, should last a year!

@Catch71  Didn't get anything in tonight's show, but last night I ordered the Infinity cream and BB duo. The BB is in a new scent Hippie Beach. Hope I like it.

This is my opinion too and I totally agree.  And to a lesser degree the "kitchen" show is now being infiltrated with ladies tops, men's shoes, men's watches.  Only a few minutes but what does any of that stuff have to do with cooking?

Another thing that bugs me is that they will have 4 or 5 hours of prepared foods.  Then ITKWD comes on next and the first thing he presents is, you guessed it, food!  At that point I turn it off and rarely come back.

While I agree there's a lot of prepared foods on the kitchen shows now, but what do you want to see?  More of Mark-Charles' gadgets?
