@sligo wrote:@ 50Mickey, She divorced Paul Deasy. Have no idea what happened to him. Have many purchases made with Judy when she was with the Q Wish they would bring some of hosts from sev years ago Miss J. Ripka too. Both excellent. No nonsense Both would describe items beautifully.
They have been married for twenty years, and are NOT divorced.

Paul left HSN when he got his divorce and moved back to PA, he is from Pittsburgh area. He and Judy met and married in 2003, they left the Q about the same time. I think he left before she did.

@San Antonio Gal ---I really don't remember for sure--it was pretty much hushed up at the QVC end. QVC let their engagement take on a very public roll tho. Seems to me there was some mental/verbal abuse on his part as well as mental issues with himself--I remember Joan Rivers said some pretty harsh things about how Judy ---like how could Judy land such a handsome guy because she wasn't exactly a "beauty" herself. The usual Joan Rivers garbage---don't know if you can google that whole thing or not.

@paixmcdao , I apologize. I'I had my male hosts confused. I should have given more thought I'm so sorry.

Some of us remember the Judy/Jeff engagement and marriage all too well. Jeff was an incredible monster toward Judy. What no one knew at the time was that HE was covering up lurid secrets. Judy had no clues. She was so naive. And painfully hurt by his cruelty and the dangers of his secret lifestyles.
Judy told Kathy Levine the ugly truth. Shocked, Kathy, took Judy's side immediately and told her to "go back to work and behave as a professional." She did. Then, she filed for divorce or an annullment. (Kathy included a chapter in her first book!)
Later, Paul Deasey was hired by QVC as a host. He was divorced and had two children (not sure if he had custody or not). He and Judy began dating. They shared many interests and long-term goals in life. Paul and Judy were a unique match and dated for a number of years to ensure security for both of their emotional well-being.
Judy was thrilled to become a step-parent to his children when they were married and decided to move to FL to begin a gem business of their own by traveling the world the first year, then selling from ShopTV in Minneapolis the next few years (IIRC).
The last several years, Judy and Paul have hosted cooking, exercise and various other programs from their home in FL.
And the rest is history!

I always enjoyed her. She's on Instagram and she looks great. She's been married to Paul Deasy since 2003.
Looks like she's selling jewelry at Kohl's.
I don't watch QVC anymore but a lot of the hosts I watch are gone except for David (love him), Jane Treacy (what did she do w/her hair (sorry, JMO), Dave King, and I'm sure a few others. Miss Kathy too. QVC isn't the same anymore.

I think Judy found out Jeff was gay. She remarried and her & Paul developed their own line.

It was nice seeing Judy Crowell on QVC selling jewelry. Sorry, I didn't buy anything this trip, but hopefully, she will bring in more things in the future that tempt me.
Paul was hosting at HSN at the time they married and although his stint there was brief, he and Judy must have loved the Florida sunshine. They partnered on a jewelry line sold at ShopHq (which was called something else when Paul and Judy were vendors there). Considering what Judy had gone through, there must have been a strong attraction for her to take another chance on a work romance.
