@Kachina624  oh it happens , it has happened to me numerous times !   Now other times yes a couple hours later I was able to cancel .  It's a gamble though.

This has happened to me also, but I have also been unable to cancel just a few minutes after placing an order.  I don't know why changes can be made sometimes but not others.

Also, in response to someone who mentioned impulse buying, changing an order does not necessarily mean someone placed an impulse order.  Sometimes you may see a presentation and place your order, but later go to the website and look the item up to read the reviews or look at the product information, and discover you don't want the item.

They should allow a specified amount of time to cancel an order and make it a policy they can state somewhere.

Many places on line give at least an hour to cancel or modify an order. That seems reasonable to me.

I've edited color or size immediately after ordering several times.

How many retailers let you change an order once it's submitted. I know of just 1. I know of 2 that give you 30 minutes to call if you want to cancel.

It's the buyer's responsibility to know what they're buying, the cost, etc. Don't blame Q because you made a mistake or changed your mind.

I wonder how much the policy costs QVC.  Because we can't modify the order within a few minutes, there are bound to be lots of returns.
