@Icegoddess If I had gotten an e-mail that it was shipped I would have been waiting for it. I always look at my orders and when I pre order things I want to know It didn't even say PROCESSING. It was CHEESE CAKE from Davids Cookies. Sorry if some of you think this is complaining.BUT if I ask for something to be shipped on 12/11 there is a reason and for them to get it to a week before is crazy. It needs to be frozen. I figured by 12/12 I would have more room in my freezer and I would only have to have it in there for 7 less days...
@Alexa6352 I guess you didn't get the memo. If you ever post here about an issue with QVC, it will always be "you're lucky you got it" or the old "first official Christmas complaint".
I don't have an extra freezer so I understand needing room for frozen products. And what if I was out of town?! I don't want a frozen delivery sitting out. I'm sure shipping is difficult, but that's the business they are in.
The customer can also always ask for a refund on food items - no questions asked. Or ask for a replacement shipment
If the cheesecake (in this instance) couldn't be stored properly, the best option is to contact CS and request a replacement to be shipped on the original requested date.

@Venezia That's good to know. I have ordered frozen foods but not from QVC. I have to travel so I need to be able to depend on delivery dates for food.
I usually receive my items in a timely manner. i notice my packages start off with UPS and end up transferred through the post office. Sometimes there could be a day or two late but I have never received an item much earlier than I expected.
