As expected 1) Not attracting new customers
2) Too much competition

QVC is no going anywhere, IMO.  This is a rough patch, though I agree with those who believe Dan and Carolyn's firing was unjust.

And the article states that the variety of products offered is very limited compared to other retailers.

On the basis of what is aired I think that's true.  But I checked the website and put in "furniture".  Over 2,000 items come up in that category alone.  Unfortunately, we never get to actually see them.  Which leads to my opinion!! that QVC should become just an online retailer and forget about the 3??? channels, expensive sets and hosts.

BTW, I didn't read the article because I couldn't access it.

Rough patch??? Guess you didn't read article.

Q will be gone in its current format in the next year or so.

They are in terrible shape

If qvc tanks I hope Kim Gravel can sell her clothes somewhere else.  I only wear her jeans anymore.

This might be why their customer service has become so iffy in terms of shipping and refunding people in a timely fashion.

All speculation... I don't believe Q will be gone. When they have something good, they sell 10,000+ of them ( just my average estimated number, could be different) - Brick and mortar can't compete with those numbers. They would go sooner or buy out Q!
