I have a package from QVC shipped on the 14th and in Colorado since the 16th. No more information from the tracking number, no estimated shipping date.
Why even bother with a tracking number? UPS can't give me any information when I try to track on their web page. And I've had this happen before.
What's the point?

@Sooner I haven't had any trouble with tracking numbers. If you don't get any results it may not have been picked up by UPS. I notice a couple of mine have no activity since the 17th, which I attributed to the weekend. Do you suppose they're already so far behind?

@Kachina624 Yes I guess so. Barring the fact that UPS here is terrible, the post office only delivered 2 of 3 scheduled packages today. Odd to me that so often QVC's tracking numbers don't work.
I don't know the reasons, but lots of companies get things here in 3 days from all over the country. Of course there's the issue that UPS just lies anyway! ![]()
Another odd thing that a lot of QVC's bags look like they have been run over several times and are filthy. I do not ever have that from LLBean, Land's End or Talbots.

@Sooner All the lies you see on tracking are courtesy of Newgistics, A contractor hired to transport packages locally between terminals. The lie and make up excuses for not meeting deadlines.
Hope your package materializes tomorrow.

I continually have tracking problems, but not necessarily from QVC. It's from everywhere. I got one number that never even registered with the delivery service. I'm currently trying to track a package that was 2 hours away from my town and now it's at the other end of the state. That's FedEx. Things come to my local USPS and just sit there. But, mostly my packages like to take the scenic route.

@Icegoddess I had FedEx package from Amazon that tracking showed was delivered to an address in Hawaii. The shippers agent swore it was just a wrong number and I'd receive it. I never got it. Got a refund.

Tracking numbers ALWAYS work. However, it is up to the staff to scan the number and enter it so you can see the progress. Then somewhat has to make sure that information is loaded and transmitted.
That is the part that gets left out when the workers are inundated and stressed out.
I just checked a package right now that still shows no information from the vendor, but when I go to a section of the UPS website to show progress, I see the package is already in my state!

tracking is wacky again ! I have a package coming from HSN that I ordered on 11/14. Tracking says it was shipped 11/15 but UPS has not picked it up yet. Huh ?? So I have called HSN CS dept twice and they just tell me it should be here by 11/24 but no reason given for the tracking saying UPS has not picked up the package yet. Go figure !

I also have an issue with a tracking number...every time I click on the tracking number I get an error message. I called customer service...they also got an error message. They told me they couldn't do anything yet. On the tenth day that if I hadn't received the item the would ship out a duplicate. (if it is still available)

IMO the whole delivery system is messed up and includes USPS. Although USPS seems to be getting it together, at least in my area.
As for UPS and others I think they are to busy putting out fires and are unable to fix the cause. A couple of the causes are the tremendous increase in delivery, not enough workers with good work ethics, honesty and a desire to do their job, let alone the intelligence to do the job.
This is just my opinion.
