Never!
I can't imagine why anyone would when it is a simple return.
Use the label, schedule a free pick up, watch (and wait and wait, LOL) for your credit.
You don't even have to go to the Post Office. Defective or damaged are always returned.
Now not liking it or it not fitting is a whole different ball game.

I return anything that is not right. I try to be careful and frugal. If I am willing to use a 50 cents of coupon at a grocery store, I am willing to take 10 minutes to pack up a return. I think that QVC makes a ton of $$$ because so many people do not return.

I have. When I buy sets for holiday gifts, if one of 4 or 6 is defective I will usually keep it. If I send it back I would have to send the rest of the whole set, and it's probably sold out!

Normally I would never keep anything defective. I would make it a
priority to return it a.s.a.p.
But one thing comes to mind recently I bought from a different
seller than QVC. It was a mailbox cover I received and the seller
sent it to me folded. Who would do that? I was so upset, nobody
wants deep creases showing when you display a beautiful, new
mailbox cover.
So I immediately thought to myself that this is going back pronto.
But before I sent it back I called the company to inform them and
wanted a replacement sent out. Guess what I received the last
one of that kind. So, I asked for a partial refund for the damaged
mailbox cover and kept it.
I laid it flat on my floor and put heavy catalogs on top of it for
several days. Not much better. Haven't used it on my mailbox
yet as it is more for the spring. Still like the picture on it.

@Nataliesgramma I have kept broken lipsticks but felt it would be too much of an expense to send it back. I used a brush to apply and was unsure if it happened in transit or left the Q in that shape. Also received a Denim and Co shirt with a hole that I donated to Goodwill rather than aggravate with returns.

I would NEVER keep, or repair a broken item. I have however, kept items with minor visual imperfections, if I REALLY favored the item.😊

Only once. This year I bought a set of two Valerie glitter trees. The larger one arrived with no jewels on one side. Returning seemed like a huge hassle, and the tree was to be positioned against a wall, so I placed it so the unbejeweled side didn't doesn't show.
I simply didn't want to go to the Post Office.

if it is something i could still use i keep it, call qvc, and ask for a partial refund instead of returning it.
if it is something that has major issues or wont work, i will return it. sometimes i call qvc and they will tell me to just throw it out and they issue a refund. i had this happen recently with a kitchen item that was shattered in pieces. i did not even open up the box.
