I returned an impulse buy late May. It was processed yesterday. On the return form I checked for a store credit. On my account it says I was refunded. Where on my account page are credits located? How do I use them?

Membership credits and only be viewed when you are placing an order. They are located on the pay screen in the step by step check out. You use the memebership credits when you place an order.

What is a "membership credit"?  I have never heard this term used?

I also find the Q's terms deceptive. I have often received gift cards and these are processed as if they were credits, not designated gift certificates. I have never seen any balance listed on the checkout, either. The only way I've been able to determine what my balance is is by calling CS and requesting the amount.

@KathyPetIt's when instead of the money going back on your card, Q holds it for your use "on account".

 It would be handy if you didn't want DH to see all of your activity or you don't like to have so much on your statement for your card.
