I'm not going to put one up this year.

 

 

There is really nothing to "celebrate", so why bother.

The Sky looks different when you have someone you love up there.

The day after Thanksgiving.  Fall decor comes down, Christmas goes up.

Never until a week or so after Thanksgiving.  Short and sweet is a fine way to do a season.

I've decided on the week before TG,  since I'll be alone for the holiday. Hopefully a Hallmark movie and twinkling lights can brighten my TG day. Of course, I'll deserve pie for having my tree up early :-).

I'm tempted to do the same. This has--for me--been an awful year. I am, of course, grateful for a lot but I've had a lot og medical/health "issues" and would feel hypocritical putting up a tree when my heart's really not in it,
