I used to find live QVC on QVC1 and QVC2 and QVC3 was a repeat of an earlier show. Now there are times when 2 and 3 are repeats I am getting tired of the one channel with new things.. and maybe it's a good thing I don't watch as much.. whats up QVC.

@Chatyone 2

I still don't understand why QVC could possibly need more than one channel.  It's not like the stock rooms are brimming over with more new stuff than they can get on the air.

It all seems like reruns to me.

Possibly so people that missed previous shows can see what aired.  Guess it's their way of offering more opportunities to the viewers.

@Chatyone 2    Does it make sense to you that after a catastrophic fire that destroyed about one third of their inventory, QVC might need a little time to regroup and perhaps acquire more product before resuming full programming?

I'd like to see channels dedicated to certain types of products. One for home, one for style, and one for beauty. That way I don't have to wait or search for new beauty items or velour pants. Especially when I don't need auto starters or tools.

@Imadickens   They've had both a beauty channel and a fashion channel and apparently decided it was to their advantage to mix things up.

You know, I thought so but wasn't sure. I'm surprised, I'd think viewers would like to know where to find presentations on specific items, esp around holidays! I must be an odd shopper I guess.

I'm sure QVC is contractually obligated to air content on those channels, whether live shows or repeats.

@Chatyone 2   I suspect that one of the things going on is that QVC contracted for the TV time before the whole mess with retail due to the pandemic and all the shipping problems.  If they have to pay for the TV time, they have to use it for something.  You're right that they don't need all those channels right now, but finding another company to buy the time from them might be impossible and the repeats don't cost nearly as much as new shows would.

@Chatyone 2  QVC2 went back to LIVE programming on January 5 -- it's Live from 11:00 am to midnight.  Some shows have a host, some are solo vendor shows.

Because folks asked Mary DeAngelis where was her ITKWM show on QVC 2, she posted on her Instagram page (ITKWD returned Live on January 8):

"We have a temporary rearranging of our programming to accommodate some business needs. ITKWM will be back live the second week of January."

QVC 3 and QVC Now are all pre-recorded shows.
