Today I received three e-mails from QVC announcing "Great news! Your order has shipped."
Umm...
It shipped over a week ago.

Are your items coming from the vendor? If so, it's always slower than from the retailer.
Delays in shipiping and returns handling are big reasons why I rarely shop Q anymore. I can shop elsewhere and usually pay less and receive my items faster.

A few orders from Saturday's free shipping day have arrived. Still waiting on my Ontario, California orders to ship. Day 14. We shall see. The $15 Q credit is posted to my acct. I don't intend on using it until my other orders ship. System problems or not, 14 days.....yikes. Some had orders as early as 2/22.

My long-delayed order came from QVC's Ontario, California shipping center. That's where most of the delayed orders have been shipping from. Evidently they recently "upgraded" their order software or something like that. Some have received a letter about it apologizing for the shipping delays.

I remember not that long ago, you could still go in and cancel something within a day or two. That option needs to still be viable or customer service needs to be able to tell you if the item is in stock and available to ship in a timeframe that is suitable.
This is an upper management fail by not communicating with their team members on how to handle the situation as it appears to be getting worse.
@ajsidney12 I agree 100%with you ! That is my main complaint.
if my item sits there and isn't shipped within a timely manner then I feel I should have the right to either cancel or wait . Many times I just want to cancel , but not allowed to while they hold the item hostage! This option needs to be brought back !

@Teddixat wrote:I received this email today from the Q regarding order delays
Dear QVC Shopper,
We want to let you know that we've experienced an unexpected delay in fulfilling your order(s), and we understand how frustrating that can be. Recently, we made an important upgrade to the technology in our Ontario Fulfillment Center. While this change will ultimately improve our service, it has temporarily resulted in delayed deliveries.
We are working around the clock to resolve the issue and deliver your product as soon as possible. We have also made temporary changes to avoid impacts to future orders. As a small token of apology for the inconvenience, a $15 credit will be issued to your QVC account by Monday, March 10.
Your understanding and patience during this time means a lot to us. If you have any questions our customer service team is here to help every day from 7AM – 1AM EST at 800-367-9444.
Sincerely,
Mike Fitzharris
President, QVC US Brand & Chief Operating Officer, QVC Group
Just read this and went to check my email and I just received the exact same letter.

My 2/28 Ontario orders have arrived! 20 days but I finally got them!

I finally received yesterday the last item of my 2/23 order and all other orders. My most recent order was March 11. Received those items this week. They were all clothing, Some shipped from California, most from PA.
@Teddixat I wouldn't worry their records don't show you have received delivery at this time. They have had this disconnection for some time. This happens to me. They always bill me.
@Kitty Galore My items took so long to ship, they designated some "backorder", not sure why, and I just cancelled a couple of these items online. A CS rep told me one time I asked about the delay that I can always cancel an order if it hasn't arrived by the promised date, though I read somewhere that they expect the customer to return the item if it arrives later at no charge to the customer, which is not a great offer. I think if it won't allow you online, one would have to call, which I think is when an order may still ship because there is a disconnect between what has happened and what the system reflects. QVC is becoming very challenging for customers to deal with.
