For the past few months I have been having one issue after another with QVC. Whether it is a wrong item sent or a defective item, refunds not being processed and a ton of technical issues that are never ending and no one seems to be able to fix.

 

Today, I have reached my limit because it seems they no longer want us speaking on Live Chat so they have disabled it completely to not work on any device. Not on PCs, mobile phones or iPads. I want & need Live Chat to have written confirmation when I have an issue with an order and taking it away is not making me want to ever shop with them again.

 

Today I also ran into another problem as I was not able to access Forums for whatever reason unless I disabled my security program which I never want to do!

 

I don't post here often but I had to this time because speaking to CS all they say is that "it is working for me". I don't understand how that can be when I have tried everything and nothing works!

 

I also emailed Social Team about this issue many times but all they come back with is to clear my history/cookies and disable my security program which none of these steps work. I also emailed them about the issue I am having about an order and still they haven't responded. Calling CS doesn't get me anywhere either as I got transferred 3 times and agents don't seem to know what I'm talking about. I am beyond upset with this type of service from such a big company that prides itself on customer service.

Some companies don't allow access with certain security programs.

 

You could disable your program while accessing QVC.  Or not it's up to you.

 

Customer Service isn't trained most likely in IT issues.

Live Chat is always hit or miss for me.  Sometimes it works but most times it doesn't. 

 

I usually give up and just call customer service regarding my issue.

I think basically there's a lot of downsizing and the amount of volume being sold and shipped is in chaos

Its not just the Q

Im dealing with this with a few online orders for a month

It is frustrating and I vasilate

saying I'm done no more and then I have something I have only to buy online

andvtge cycle repeats

Then I have to deal with USPS and they can barely be responsible for my mail

Agreed that CS is not trained to be technicians but the issue is neither is their IT because Live Chat has not been working for majority of folks on their devices for YEARS. Now it is not working at all for ANY of them and QVC just advised today that they are "aware" of the issue.

 

Fine to be "aware" of it but when are you ever going to fix it! There are a lot of people who rely on Live Chat like the Deaf, elderly, some who don't want to deal with phone calls for many reasons like the fact that CS agents are now working from home and when one calls you are stuck with hearing dogs barking, kids screaming and other background conversations.

 

This is not the QVC I knew and loved and nor is it how a reputable company like theirs should be conducting business. Disheartening all around.

Exactly! Which is why I rely on Live Chat because they instantly refund you when you return something, otherwise we have to wait for weeks & months to be refunded. Calling CS on the phone has all other issues as I mentioned above in another conversation.

You aren't the only one.  I tried Chat this morning, which I rarely use, and it appears to be disabled.  Also, I stopped getting notifications when packages are delivered, whether via UPS or USPS.  I found one package outside last week but never got a notification like I used to.  When I checked my order on line it says it was delivered but that doesn't do me much good if it's been sitting outside all night for who knows how long, escpecially in the winter time.  :-(

I haven't used the Chat feature, but haven't had any problems placing orders or getting updates on my orders.  I use an iPad Pro.   Seems to me that a lot of problems seem to be related to the device being used or the security settings on a device.  Just wondering since someone (like the OP) is experiencing multiple issues while some of us aren't having any issues.   Anyway I doubt that Customer Service is able to address our technical issues.

I was a big supporter of the Q.  I no longer am.  I have a few problems with the platform, some of which are peculiar to me and others all on the Q.

 

I am a  larger lady and short waisted which makes buying clothing a challenge. I used to buy what I knew would look well on and now I no longer buy clothing.  The fit for me on things that I know generally work for my body type.  are not working now and the cost of shipping has becoem prohibitive.

 

I will buy Vionic shoes and an occasional gift but that is pretty much it now.

 

The cost of shipping and returning has become a problem and that is not entirely on QVC. Shipping in generaly is costly,  Many years ago I suggested a shopping cart shipping charge would be beneficial, such as the way any retail store does it, based upon weight and size of the box.  They said it could not be done.

 

I have also noticed that I used to "trust" if a certain host spoke about a product that is was the greatest thing since sliced bread and generally it was, years ago. Maybe I was naive. Now there are too many of the same type items that I no longer have any faith in what they are saying. I have come to realize that Q used to be a fun place to shop and sadly I no longer feel that way.
